Purpose
Luminescence celebrates our Unitarian Universalist identity by honoring five values that are woven throughout our faith. It honors the freedom our faith provides each of us for seeking our own personal truth and the many paths our faith offers for attaining spiritual fulfillment.
There is so much to celebrate that about Unitarian Universalism. We hope that this may be one of many, in a rich palette of holidays.
We want Luminescence -- and UU holidays in general -- to enrich our spiritual infrastructure. It is our hope that it will play a part in creating an rich heritage for our youth. We hope that Luminescence will help to inspire our dreams and, in turn, our intentions.
